If your mind is set that you should win the game, it will pressure you even more. That will not do you any good but it will make things even worse. Focus only to get the point only and try your best possible shot. Do not rush for a kill just controll until you get the real opportunity. Opportunity could be created by applying controll offensive stroke and good ball placing.
Last night I won against a guy that are better than me again. The guy objectives were merely revenge and want to win badly. I just play cool and relax, just keep putting the ball on table. This guy made lots of mistakes and missed many points. It worked perfectly for me and I won 4-0.
I should learn from zuri style of play. He just controll loop every ball untill real chance appear to make a kill. His strokes are smooth and well executed. His footwork also the best amongst our club. I think these factors contribute my lost 1-3 to him. My style of hit/block were beaten by his spinny loop/control style. I will work on loop to loop rally plus hit/smash alternatively to face him next session.

Sriver G2 Fx
Last night was my third session with sriver G2fx on my bh . Below are my findings:
1. Opening loop very easy
2. Block good but the ball slow.
3. Excellent controll
4. Good for active shot
5. Higher percent of returning ball.
Two guys at my club are very hard to beat. They are Din Post and M. Nor. No win with Din Pos yet. But last night I won against M.Nor 5-1. That make 2-8 since July09. I can manage to take his serves now and good bh block put me in better situation. Sometimes I can win against members club that are better than me like Hazlee and Zuri.
Recently I have problem against Syed when using this setup. His fast serve and fast push on fh and bh make weak return for a kill. This because of slow return from bh.

Tips From Member
Last night was a good game. I won 3 out of 4 member's club. I lost 0-3 to Din Post but two of the games were deuces. Pretty competitive games. I also exchange rubber with mie JKR from G2 to G2Fx for my bh. It has more controll, softer and spinnier.
Got new tips from club member how to improve skill.
1. more forward stroke on bh
2. only small arm move not whole body for more stable stroke
3. push forward during block(active block)

Feeling Down
Last session was not good at all. Feeling like I was not improve . Flip set up also did not work. G2 on bh felt awkward and on bh lack of attack on slow ball. I lost my all of my game to Lie, Zuri , Usop and Din post. I have to admitted that they are better than me. I dont mind beaten if the game were competitive but the session I was badly beaten.
I guess I need to improve on forehand using T05 and need some good tactics. I will change bh rubber to sriver L and see result. I need to be more relax, control and also good short game.
In poli I also lost 2-3 to Man awam(t05/sriver). Look like I beat myself(lost points cause of errors).
Feel like I want to stress on basic stroke again and start slow and control loop.

Control Loop
I tend to hit/smash ball if it high enough. I need to rush for right time and accuracy for the hits. This style consume lot of energy and risk of consistency. Sometimes my hits didnot work to counter spinny loops. To overcome this I need to be patient and do controll loop instead. Another weakness is I tend to block strokes that can be counter. This will put me in defence position that most probably I lost the raly. Be Offensive by applying forehand strokes/loops.
Club game results
vs Lie(1-4)
-His hit/block overpowered me.
vs M.Nor(1-3)
- His short game with placing make me in trouble. I found his weakness by serving short to his forehand.
vs Zuri(3-2)
-fh to fh rally give me advantage. My bh block and serve return worked good. His rpb bh were not consistence.
vs Mie sulong(3-0)
- I won in serve return, off table defence and good serves.

Taman Tas Friendly Game
Eight of our club member went to Taman tas for freindly game. Result are we won both on single(5-3) and doubles(3-1). For me personally, I lost 3 games and win one game in single and win a double game(partner with wahid). I felt like Im not playing at my true capacity. I think I can win if I play more consistent. The opponents are about the same level as me.
vs Ah Ming(0-3)
I played this guy before. I lost 2-3 at Berjaya Permai's. He use the same tactics as before(sidespin to my right) to get points. It still works for him. Hovever the game were close because we deuce in two of the games.
vs Cikgu (2-3)
He used short pip/long pip. First 2 games he won, after that tied to 2-2. Last game he won.

Mixed setup
Different people different style. Fh and bh setup felt different with those players. Feel that T05/G2 better this time. Maybe the problem is from G2. Too fast, less spin and bad for near table game for bh or fh. This rubber good for control and away from table looping.
vs Zuri(3-2)
fh to fh rally using G2, I lost during game but win during stroke practice. G2 on backhand still not stable. Got advantage from his weak bh(rpb style).
setup mixed T05/G2 and G2/T05
vs Hazlee(1-4)
this guy ia a good blocker/hitter. Ball trajectory kind of flat. Hard to fh loop with G2. Some chop were good to get points.
setup: G2/T05
vs Syed(3-2)
Bh stroke with G2 good against his fast loop. However some serve return from this side were high. Fh with T05 got many points from serves.
setup: T05/G2
vs Din Pos(2-4)
It was easier to return bh with G2. Gameplay style become attacker against him. Fh stroke using T05 was good for return serve and loop. Bh was okay for control and block.

JERK
I got advice from PP4M forum that to make good top spin you need to jerk from bottom. From watching zuri style of game, he uses lot of jerk to make spin. Maybe I can apply this to my game to be more offensive style. I cannot just block and defence because this will put me in weak situation.
I know this will consume lot of energy to play that way. There is no easy way to be a better player.
Last night result:
vs matnor(2-3)
Always flip setup and almost win the game. I lost because of his strategy. When I backed off, he did short stroke and when I stay near he used sidespin/topspin loop to my left side.
vs Din Post(0-4)
Very confuse of his pimpled effect. Still cannot handle wobbly ball. Some of my bh's were good.
TBS G2/T05
vs Zuri(0-3)
His loop, counter loop and serve outplayed my stroke. The only his wekness is his bh(because he just try RPB style). My fast fh opening loop with T05 can be counterattack because he know ball path already.
TBS t05/G2
vs Syed(1-4)
Fh with T05 good for fast attack. Sometimes bh with G2 also good for blocking his loop.
TBS T05/G2
Conclusion: Always flip setup is good to confuse opponent but it also will mess my style and consistancy. I guess T05 is best for bh cause it can chop, loop and hit well. G2 on fh still ok except for looping near table.

Back after a Month
Last night game I started play after a month break. Some adjustments had to be made to get tuned. The game back to as usual. Performance against club members was not much difference as before.
vs M.Nor(2-4)
-his strength: serve to bh, fast return, slow sidespin, short game
-my weakness; less offensive, serve return
-his weaknessr: my bh chop
- new/learn: bh loop on backspin(once)
vs Zuri(1-3)
- this guy getting better on bh, serve and 3rd ball attack. My serve return good on fh but my serves got flip easily.
vs Syed(3-0)
-His stroke and attack not consistance
vs Mie Sulong(3-1)
-I flip setup several times n got easy points on serves. Bh serve return/chop good. Able to flip serve once.
