Third Game with TBS

Last night was my third game using my new TBS bat. It felt a little harder and faster. I need adjustment for receiving heavy chop serve from din post from my backhand. Maybe need to lift higher. I used to smash a lot using this bat however many of them are off the table. I should spun the ball more often. My performance wasnt good enough last night. Maybe I need time to find best result with this new equipment after a week break.

area to be improve:
1. looping
2. return serve from backhand-flip serve
3. attacking high ball-should back off
4. defending method.
5. attacking method- more control attack.

TBS Hurricane III/Higher

New Blade

My LKT zebra adjustable transformer felt uncomfortable because the adjuster broke. So I decided to buy new blade. After reading equipment review from Denis TT webpage I decide to buy butterfly Timo Boll Spirit(Arylate-carbon).It cost me RM 290 at Makmur Sport, Kompleks Teruntum.
Combine with hurricane/higher, I can play with it easily . It gave more speed and control compared to LKT zebra but a bit heavier. Chop, push, loop, block and drive can be done effectively.
Played against Mokhtar, Mie Sulong & Hj Z, I beat them all with this new blade. So far it is worth the money.

Game After Raya Idul Adha

me vs Mokhtar(3-1)

Strength:
1. fast serve to forehand and backhand
2. Third ballkill for those serve
3. forehand stroke against his backhand pimple
4. sometime serve low to his forehand
5. avoid chop serve to his backhand(pimple)

Weakness:
1. Backhand return of his tomahawk serve get smashed.I need to flip his serve rather than chop.

2. Need to improve on backhand smashed especially on pimple ball return.

Me vs Mie JKR(3-2)

Strength
1. Very low serve make him unable to loop return
2. Loop his serve to my right

Me vs Mie Sulong(2-3)
Game was very close.I lost the fifth game 12-10. His strenght was loop my chop. I have to limit my chop and work on loop. Maybe more attack to my opponent. His weakness was on backhand stroke.

Me vs Zuri(2-3)
My forehand return to his backhand was good but some backhand return still have problem. I need to practice serve return by flip loop for certain serve. I can see that his weakness was on his backhand stroke on fast ball.

Most people lost their game because of careless mistakes. Either they cannot control emotion or didnot watch ball correctly.Key word here is to be relax.Look for the right ball at right time before stroke. Not to attack or to defend all time.
