Block

I learned to block heavy topspin. The bat must be closed. My grip also adjusted a little bit close to the paddle. Although it will loose flexibility, my backhand & drive is getting better.
Last night game I won against Mie JKR & Mie Sulong. Their weakness were over the table ball. They cannot use their looping strength.
Against M. Nor, I lead 2-0. Third & fourth game I lost. The fifth game were very close, I lost 9-11.
I think I can win against this guy, but my mental is not ready for an upset. His weakness-serve to body. My weakness- High backhand serve return. May be need to push not chop.

Last Night Match
1. Mie JKR -3-0, 3-1, 3-1
2. Hj Din- 3-0
3. Hamzuri- 1-3
4. Mat Nor- 1-3

Last night was very hot. I drink a big jug of water. Slow serve is key to my sucess against Mie. I beat Hj Din with agressive attacked.

Getting Even

First Match

Against Hj. Din, this guy is getting better. He return my serve to my right and ready to smash my opening loop to his right. I need more spinner/power loop to prevent him to kill easily.Other choice is drive to his left. Smash to his right doesnt help either because he is good at blocking.Sometime my serve return hit net, unforce mistakes. I lost 2-3 to him.

2nd Match

Last night was my first win against Azli. I beated him 5-4 after leading 3-0. My strenght was my short serve and defend strategy. His smash didnt make it. However I still couldnt block his spining loop to my right.

Slow Start

First match with Hj Din & Lan , I lost mainly because my stroke didnot deliver and my returned ball very slow and easy for them to attack and smash.I lost to Hj Din 0-3 and to Lan also 0-3.
Second match with Lan, my third ball attack was very good when I changed my serve technic. I won 3-0.Third match I outplayed him and won 3-0. My fast serve return made him in bad position for third smash attack.
Second Match with Hj. Din, my stroke was getting better and faster. My loop outdone his block. I served to his wide backhand and make him in trouble. I won 3-0.
